Opportunity
IEPro are currently working with a privately owned civil contractor who are searching for a Project Manager to lead their teams. The success of this contractor is reinforced by the quality and expertise of their staff, collaborative approach to business and their skill at providing flexible solutions to civil construction challenges. Our client works across SEQ on DTMR & Local Gov projects.
Role
You will work closely with the project team and client to ensure the management and completion of projects.
The responsibilities include:

• Providing leadership and monitoring compliance to the agreed project plan and business processes to ensure that projects are delivered safely
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, provide regular financial forecasts, develop and review claims and, understand and report on the financial status of the project
• Leading the cooperation and coordination between the client and senior management on site
• Maintaining and implementing Health and Safety on site by complying with relevant state legislation, acts, regulations, company procedures and site requirements

About You:
You will have experience managing project teams together with;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the delivery of civil construction projects in Australia
• Relevant tertiary education in civil engineering, construction management; or similar
• Recent experience delivering projects between $500k - $20m in value
• Recent experience working on major road projects in Australia
• Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures
• Extensive financial, risk, and contractual management skills
