- The Project must be delivered to the schedule and cost as per the Project Deed. This will require strong project governance, including establishing a team of individuals that will be able to deliver this project safely and cost effectively to customer satisfaction.
- Leading and developing the teams working for you to ensure appropriate delegation of work and growth and development of own teams for better business outcomes.
- Monitors, controls and ensures prudent management of the project budget, investigating any discrepancies and blowouts, forecasting costs and contribution, recommending cost saving initiatives where possible and ensuring disciplined audit/financial management systems are in place.
- Implement and maintain control, planning and reporting systems that ensure project milestones are met and demonstrate actual performance against target, (time, cost, and quality) and accurately forecast final outcomes.
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in an Engineering, Commercial or Project Management discipline.
- Substantial senior project leadership experience (Minimum of 15 years) in a major project in infrastructure with an excellent understanding and knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Experienced with Data Centre Projects
- Experience gained in all facets of project procurement and delivery, including (but not limited to), civil earthworks, mechanical and electrical, plumping and in-ground services.
- Business and commercial acumen in a complex multiple-product jurisdictionally diverse operation.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Must have a valid Australian driver’s license.
