We design, manufacture and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.  
  
About the role:
Due to an increasing pipeline of work, an experienced Project Manager is required to join our team to specialise in the delivery of a range of modular construction projects. The Project Manager will lead, empower and coach project teams to deliver optimal outcomes across time, cost, safety and quality. 

This role will be based out of our Crestmead office and is an exciting opportunity for someone who is innovative and experienced in managing multiple projects varying in size and complexity. You will have job variety and work in a collaborative environment with opportunities to develop skills with a market leader in modular construction.
 
The key responsibilities of the role are:   

  • Manage resources, ensure timely project completion within budget and identify process improvements
  • Plan, monitor and lead construction programmes, milestone tracking and completion dates
  • Ensure cost management and financial control by planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting against multiple project timelines and milestones
  • Lead a high performing team, directing and allocating team resources and monitoring effectiveness
  • Collaborate amongst cross-functional teams, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders
  • Maintain a strong emphasis on zero harm and safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Drive ongoing innovation, efficiency and improvements in operations
  • Monitor compliance with construction documents, ensuring that specifications and regulations are followed and proper methods and materials are used.
About You:
The preferred candidate for this role will be experienced in managing construction projects across a range of industry sectors and be passionate about leading, influencing and delivering on expectations. You will enjoy building relationships with project stakeholders and managing project teams. You will take pride in delivering compliant projects to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
  
The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Project Manager (or similar) in the commercial construction sector   
  • Excellent knowledge of project and contract management principles
  • Proficient in Australian standards/legislation, building codes and construction methodologies
  • Tertiary qualification in Project Management or Construction Management (or other relevant qualification in construction disciplines is advantageous)
  • Excellent understanding of all safety, quality and environmental regulations and accomplished at ensuring zero harm
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills with an ability to work under pressure and plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Intermediate computer literacy including MS suite of programs (Word, Outlook, Excel). Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (Navision) would be an advantage
  • Commitment to the efficient and effective delivery of quality customer service
