Role Overview: As a Project Manager supporting the Wilmar Sugar & Renewables business, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a range of business improvement projects, from system upgrades to new technology implementations. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and excels at driving multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT and business improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support business analysts to fulfil and translate business requirements into IT solutions aligned to the overall IT strategy
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party resources as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing projects in a corporate environment from inception to transition to the business
- Proven experience in driving business improvement projects with measurable outcomes
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and resources effectively
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and/or Project Management certification (e.g. PMP, PPM, PMI-ACP, CSM)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good track record in identifying and removing roadblocks
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies is advantageous
