Our Client:
We are working with a leading provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, specializing in the design, fabrication, and construction of treatment facilities. Due to their continuous growth and success they are seeking a Project Manager to join the team.
The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater treatment projects from inception to completion.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Lead project kickoff meetings to establish objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Manage and coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, fabricators, and construction crews.
- Provide clear direction, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Ensure all projects meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, financial tracking, and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints and financial targets are met.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and submit regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Proven experience managing fabrication and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with design-build and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
