Role Overview:
As a Project Manager specializing in built-to-rent housing, you will play a key role in overseeing the development and delivery of rental housing projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our client's portfolio while ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of built-to-rent housing projects, including site selection, feasibility analysis, design development, and construction management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, tracking progress and identifying risks and opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate with property management teams to ensure seamless transition from construction to operations, including tenant leasing and move-in processes.
- Oversee quality control and assurance processes, ensuring that built-to-rent properties meet the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and functionality.
- Manage project documentation and reporting, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and stakeholder communications.
- Proactively identify and address project issues and challenges, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track and mitigate risks.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, providing leadership and support to project team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on residential or commercial construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from concept to completion, preferably in the built-to-rent or multi-family housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, processes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience leading project teams and driving results.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
