Operating all aspects of the business, including manufacture & fabrication from one Gold Coast location, Open Projects Group is a market leader in the Commercial Fit out sector.
An experienced Project Manager is sought to join our team.
Ideally you will have a combination of industry trade skills, have a great sense of humour and enjoy being part of a fun, close knit team who love what they do.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, have the ability to multi task, grow within the role and oversee teams of site tradesman and subcontractors.
Relevant skills and experience should include:
- Recent experience as a Project Manager working on commercial shop fitting projects - full end to end projects
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Deliver projects on time and on budget
- Experience with on site OH & S
- Ability to conduct site measures
- Sound knowledge of subtrades
- Scheduling & ability to prepare a project program & scope of work
- Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors
- Communicate with clients, estimators, production managers and key personnel at all levels
- Enjoy working on creative and unique projects
- Key experience in a similar role within the industry
- Solid knowledge and understanding of construction practices and building including trade knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate - emails, word, excel, microsoft project
- A background in commercial joinery production and installation is an advantage
- Travel if required
