The Opportunity
We seek a standout Project Manager to join our team to manage commercial window and door installation projects on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be directly reporting to the Operations Director and working very closely with the Estimation, Sales, Production, Site & Service teams.
You must possess strong scheduling, planning, problem-solving, time management, multi-tasking and technical leadership skills.
You must be highly organised and capable of high-level communication with the builder's project team, engineers, sub-contractors, and field employees.
The typical function will include but will not be limited to:
- Programme/schedule all awarded contracts,
- Be involved with the design and procurement of all materials for projects,
- Startup and manage projects,
- Ability to attend site and do final measure-up where required,
- Liaise with the accounts team for the preparation of progress claims,
- Oversee and check that all shop drawings are correctly ready for fabrication,
- Review shop drawings for fabrication
- Keep up to date with the production schedule, keep the customer aware of any delays
- Work with Site Supervisors, Production team and other Project Co-Ordinators to keep the site installation schedule up to date
- Place and track orders for site fixings and trims
- Ensure Installers and Glaziers have consumable kits topped up
- Act as the main point of contact for the builder after the Project Kick-off meeting
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Supervise site installations and manage equipment utilisation,
- Reporting of project status and attendance at meetings,
- Documenting and administration of projects through to closure,
- Supporting business development processes
- Experience with V6 software preferred
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role/Industry preferred
- Certificate IV or higher in Project Management relevant experience
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple commercial projects simultaneously
- Experience in managing and leading a team to deliver successful outcomes

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and colleagues at all levels
