As the Project Manager, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager and GM Operations, in ensuring seamless planning, execution, and successful implementation of this expansion project.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan encompassing timelines, milestones, and resource needs.
- Evaluate and mitigate potential risks, devising effective risk management strategies.
- Formulate a budget and distribute resources efficiently.
- Establish robust communication channels within the project team.
- Keep stakeholders informed by conveying project status, updates, and alterations.
- Manage expectations to ensure stakeholders remain well-informed.
- Supervise project costs, tracking expenses against the budget, and implementing corrective measures when required.
- Ensure financial transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Set and enforce quality benchmarks for project deliverables, including formal sign-off at site visits.
- Implement quality assurance protocols to meet project objectives.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to uphold quality standards.
- Identify and address potential risks and uncertainties affecting the project.
- Develop strategies to mitigate and manage risks effectively.
- Clearly define roles, responsibilities, and expectations for project team members.
- Monitor project timelines and milestones, adjusting as necessary in response to changes or unforeseen events.
- Manage alterations to project scope, schedule, or resources.
- Assess the impact of changes and communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation and approval for all changes.
- Identify and engage with project stakeholders, managing their expectations and addressing concerns accordingly.
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / or relevant trade qualification
- Prior experience as a Project Manager within the recycling, mechanical processing, electrical , or commercial / industrial fit out would be advantageous
- Formal Project Management training desirable
- Understanding of project financials and cost management
- Hands on practical approach, with the willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done
