About the Role
Teys Australia is actively looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to become a valuable member of our Asset Management team located at the Eight Mile Plains site in Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively overseeing the entire project life cycle managing a variety of infrastructure projects involving our feedlots, production, and manufacturing sites with a focus on timely deliverables, budget control, reporting, and approval process documentation.
Reporting to our Strategic Project Portfolio Manager, you must demonstrate exceptional organisational skills combined with technical leadership strategies, offering clear and concise direction to the Asset Management team. You will be responsible for identifying business needs, and coordinating engineering suppliers and consultants, whilst working on continuous improvement by introducing innovative solutions.
About You
An experienced Project Manager, you are seeking to inspire a team of passionate professionals and add value to the Teys business operations. You pride yourself on your keen oversight of all aspects of project deliverables and bring a positive attitude to your work and the entire team.
You have the following experience/skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree Qualifications (Engineering or Construction Management) or demonstrated experience .
- 5 -10 years’ experience as a Project Engineer/ Manager
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Experience in management and reporting project financials and risks to the Senior Leadership team
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to embed good contract governance and record keeping
- Technical insight and sound judgement necessary for complex problem solving
And you could really stand out with:
- Relevant experience within the Food Processing Industry
- Experience in maintenance and reliability systems
