About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Perth-based Cranes and Lifting team. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the delivery of projects to meet client and contractual requirements, including managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating proactively and maintaining sound client relationships.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to other engineers and technicians.
- Assist Engineers / Technical Advisors with the development of mechanical and hydraulic drawings, procedures, manuals, specifications and general engineering documentations.
- Lifting engineering inclusive of development of lift plans, selection of lifting equipment and supporting calculations .
- Review and preparation of documentation including workpacks, reports, design calculations and specifications.
- Provide project support and input to tenders, customer presentations, and other required marketing and sales/BD activities.
- Prepare project scope, budget, and schedule for written proposals.
- Managing overall project performance (scope, timeline, budget, target deliverables) to meet client, company and contractual requirements.
- Managing the timeliness and accuracy of project controls (reporting, costs, schedule, trends, change management) in terms of both direct and indirect costs.

To be a successful candidate for this position ideally you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PMP certification (preferred)
- At least 8 years’ of Cranes and Lifting experience
- Must have experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Demonstrable ability to achieve high standards with budget and timeline constraints.
- Ability to present with confidence to management and senior stakeholders on project updates and performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and adapting to change
- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively without supervision with a consistently high degree of accuracy and quality
