The Role
Requires a high level of attention to detail as you will coordinate and undertake a variety of tasks to support the day-to-day operational effectiveness of the business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating internal project handovers from tender to project completion;
- Distributing documents to tradesmen, clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors;
- Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and clients;
- Submitting and maintaining site safety documents;
- Coordinating online and physical site inductions;
- Issuing purchase/work orders with suppliers and subcontractors;
- Maintaining project specific delivery schedules for materials/equipment;
- Raising and tracking of RFI's (Request for Information);
- Preparing and tracking project variations including Client following ups;
- Raising invoices and monthly progress claims;
- Setting up new tenders and projects;
- Preparing tender folders for estimating;
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors regarding pricing;
- Creating Operation & Maintenance Manuals for completed projects;
- Acting as a first point of contact for any correspondence and phone calls;
- Preliminary drafting of correspondence on the Directors behalf;
- Maintaining the Director’s credit card receipts and expense claims; and
- Carrying out any other administration duties as required
The Person
The successful candidate will have proven Projects experience ideally within a construction or trades environment, strong written and verbal communication with the ability to use initiative. Proficiency in the use of MS office and exposure to SimPRO would be advantageous.
