Quigly are a boutique consultancy with a great network of clients across many industries.Currently, we are seeking an experienced Cyber SecurityProject Manager for our fantastic client to join the Canberra based team (Hybrid onsite) supporting a unique and transformational Cyber Security Program of work.
This role will be responsible for planning, managing, supporting and implementing secure, robust, fit for purpose Privileged Access Management Solutions as part of a broader Cyber Security transformation.

As the successful candidate, you will provide direction and guidance to the design, development, specifications, and communications of Cyber Security solutions and architecture.
You will also provide technical consultation to business units and IT management, assist in developing plans and direction for the integration of information security requirements, and ensure that alignment with the organisations business and security goals.
Location and Contract Term:
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT.
Initial contract for 12 months fixed term with possibility to be extended another 12+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focussed on Privileged Access Management
- Support the evaluation of the current security solutions and provide a health report on options to optimise current business practices to support new security solutions
- Lead the stakeholder engagement and design of a new solutions
- Support the identification and evaluation of complex business and technology risks, internal controls that mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
- Envision business outcomes and facilitate alignment with them
- Foster an understanding of the need for, and application of new security solutions
- Build and nurture positive working relationships across relevant areas of the organisation
- Cyber Security Project Experience (Preferred)
- Comprehensive appreciation of the doctrine of Project Management
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in technology implementation, including developing, implementing, and architecting information systems, and experience integrating security solutions into organisational infrastructure and applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team independently
- Knowledge of agile development techniques and secure software development life cycle
- Can translate security-related matters into business terms that are clear and understandable to executives
- Able to work with program management and procurement to ensure financial and delivery commitments are maintained
- Thinks outside the box when designing systems and solutions
- Can think strategically and incorporate business needs into technical roadmaps
- Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills
- Can manage projects and execute on those objectives
- Deep Project management experience, preferably using methodologies like PRINCE2 Agile or PMBOK.
- Solid understanding of Cyber Security or Enterprise Technology concepts (Preferred)
- Security clearance to a relevant level will be required (specific level to be confirmed during interview)
