Project Manager (Electrical)

Star Precision Electrical is experiencing a period of rapid business growth and is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Electrical) as an addition to our team. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects from end-to-end whilst supporting our leadership and trades team as we continue to expand as a business. 

To be successful in this role, you will have previously worked in an industrial and commercial environment and demonstrate a thorough understanding of electrical components within these sectors.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Managing the day-to-day operations such-as, implementing and delivering projects on time, in budget and in scope.
• Management and control of reporting, materials, plant and equipment, contractor management, monitoring labour and directing teams.
• Manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage work packs, SWMS, risk assessments, and permits.
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation, administration and forecasting.
• Manage the tender process including design, submission and review.
• Lead by example whilst supporting and mentoring staff.

About you: 

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role. 
• Formal project management qualifications and/or accreditation with the AIPM, advantageous.
• Previous experience working on industrial construction projects, advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, AS4801, ISO14001, and AS4000 standards.
• Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office, Simpro, Excel, Sharepoint, Smart sheet).
• QLD electrical workers licence.
• Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card).
• Manual Driver’s licence.
• EWP Licence.
• LVR/CPR Certificate.
