We are currently looking for a new addition to our team with a positive, driven, and experienced project management individual. The ability to prioritise competing tasks simultaneously is essential; you will demonstrate strong planning and leadership skills, vast experience, and composure.
The Role
Some of the key responsibilities and activities relevant to the role are:
- Civil Earthworks for Commercial/ Government Infrastructure, development, rural and agricultural projects.
- Prepare and submit tenders
- Budgeting, scoping and planning resources sequencing required for project completion
- Liaise with industrial bodies, suppliers, clients and sub-contractors to complete competitive estimates and quotes
Key responsibilities and activities relevant to the estimator component of the role are:
Timely level & area control is a key component of project management for quality & quantity control & reporting. As a motivated self-starter, the role involves:
- The latest machinery integrated level controls, Universal Total Station (UTS), mobile rovers through to dipping from string line and pegs
- Prepare, record and report on quantity analysis from first principles and liaise with stakeholders on results
- Work with the team, including customers, Project Managers, supervisors, operators, designers, and administrators, to provide timely measurement and reporting on site progress and completion
- Compare and verify site set out and completion with design and plans
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree or similar expertise in earthworks/engineering/surveying/ Project Managing / Supervising
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and time management
- CAD & Civil Engineering an advantage.
