Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team, overseeing a variety of critical technology projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing initiatives such as data center expansion/consolidation, network infrastructure upgrades, cloud migration, and other transformative projects aimed at enhancing our technology capabilities.
Depending on the project, tasks may include coordinating data center expansion, assisting in network infrastructure upgrades, supporting cloud migration efforts, managing server virtualisation initiatives, and contributing to cybersecurity enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Act as a central point of contact between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Facilitate regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and address any concerns.
- Coordinate resources and tasks to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Assist in identifying and resolving project-related issues or obstacles.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of project progress and outcomes.
- Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units.
- Provide support to team members, addressing questions and ensuring a cohesive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management roles, with exposure to technology projects.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to various technology domains, such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
