Project Manager - JD Edwards (contract)

Great company based in Sydney is embarking on a finance upgrade within their Technology, Data & Digital team. 
They are seeing aProject Manager with experience with ERP projects, specifically JD Edwards. 

Title:Project Manager - JD Edwards 
Role: 6-month Contract 
Location: Sydney CBD (hybrid - 3 days/week in office) 

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:
• Oversee ERP upgrade projects, focusing on JD Edwards.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in partnership with senior management and stakeholders.
• Planning and Resource Management:
• Create detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage resources efficiently to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for seamless project execution.
• Execution and Delivery:
• Ensure timely, within-scope, and on-budget project delivery.
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
• Handle changes in project scope, schedule, and costs with appropriate validation techniques.
• Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
• Regularly update stakeholders and senior management on project status, progress, and issues.
• Maintain project quality and integrity.
• Post-Project Review:
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to capture and apply lessons learned for future projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive Project Management experience.
• Proven track record with ERP projects (JD Edwards preferred but not essential).
• Strong commercial awareness and expertise in stakeholder management.

Skills and Certifications

• Demonstrated experience in leading ERP projects from start to finish.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing project needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills focused on stakeholder engagement.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
