Wood is recruiting a dynamic and result-driven Project Manager with strong focus on project delivery and business management in the Gladstone regional area.

Based in Gladstone, you will become part of a team focused on delivering solutions for our client's assets across Australia and the wider APAC region. The successful candidate will lead delivery excellence across assigned projects / portfolios, provide certainty and confidence to the client, and demonstrate robust control of project scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Working alongside with Brisbane leadership team, you will be contributing to the delivery of sustaining capital EPCm, EPC projects through:

• Leading project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects within budget and scope.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to identify business growth opportunities.
• Active participation in business development strategies to expand our presence in the regional area.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
• Providing leadership and mentorship to project team members to maintain high performance and motivation.
• Monitoring and setting up a performance improvement culture and actions on complex projects and into their supply chains.
• Facilitating the setup of information management systems / applications as applicable to suit various life phases of projects.
• Participating in assurance activities and peer reviews.
• Monitoring project performance and profitability and making data-driven decisions to optimize project outcomes.
• Representing the company in regional business events and industry networking opportunities to promote our services and capabilities.

• BEng or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of direct Project Management experience managing EPC or EPCm projects relating to Energy sector.
• Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clients.
• Self-motivated and able to clearly communicate with Client and contractors at all levels.
• Good presentation skills.
