Project Manager Planned Surgery Reform
- Provide support to other projects as directed by the General Manager Surgical Services
- A critical leadership role with The Royal Melbourne Hospital
- Full Time Fixed Term role until April 2025
Your new role:
- Leading and implementing planned surgery reform
- Lead the RMH Surgical Delivery and Innovation team and oversee the Surgical
- Utilise quality improvement and project management methodology to achieve substantial and sustainable change.
- Oversee and monitor the performance of the planned surgery reform projects
- Coordinate and facilitate agile and effective decision making
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Surgery and Surgical Heads of Unit to implement the Department of Health Planned Surgery Reform Blueprint.
- Tertiary qualifications in either health, business or management.
- At least 3 years' experience in a senior operational or project leadership role within a large health service.
- Demonstrated experience of managing change in a complex environment.
- Excellent communication skills including well-developed writing skills and an ability to promptly prepare relevant documentation, presentations and reports.

Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary qualifications in a clinical area relevant to a tertiary hospital
Essential: At least three years experience in a senior operational role or project leadership role in a large health service.
Essential: Demonstrated experience of managing change in a complex environment
Essential: Post-graduate qualifications in heath, business or management
