About the role:
Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be primarily responsible for managing new projects from concept stage, through design, manufacturing, assembly and dispatch of various replacement parts for Pumps and Valves.
Key responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in the tender and award process from compilation of tenders through to evaluation and award
- Liaise with procurement, shop floor manufacturing, sub-contractors & logistics to meet key project deliverables.
- Ensuring QA is met and resolve any technical/quality issues
Skills & experience needed:
- A minimum 2 years Past experience in estimating, planning, material sourcing, managing the manufacture process of all types of pumps and valves and associated components and project coordination.
- An engineering qualification or trade will be highly regarded.
- Shop floor and manufacturing experience would be essential.
- High level of computer skill.
- Measuring skills and use of vernier and micrometres
- Knowledge of ERP, planning and scheduling systems
- The ability to liaise effectively with customers and vendors is essential, both written and verbal.
