Contract Duration: Initial 12 Months
Schedule: 9-day fortnight on 9-hour days / 5 days 8 hours. Flexible working from home available

The role is for a project at Wagerup, working with a leading client in the industry. The team is dynamic, focused on multidisciplinary brownfield projects, and embraces a collaborative culture that promotes flexible and hybrid working arrangements to balance work with life.
The Role:
We are seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to coordinate project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities, and milestones. The role involves supervising project personnel, bridging the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers, and ensuring engineering work is executed according to plan.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain HSE focus within the team and ensure HSE requirements are included in design and procurement.
- Demonstrate full commitment to all health and safety matters and provide safety management to the project team.
- Define and select the team required to deliver the project scope and manage the team to accomplish project goals including scope, schedule, productivity, and budget targets.
- Keep team members informed about project status and key performance indicators, oversee, motivate, and monitor team performance.
- Ensure design team complies with customer Basis of Design and applicable codes and regulations.
- Apply knowledge of project engineering to oversee successful technical coordination.
- Manage project control requirements, track cost and schedule, and use analytical skills to forecast trends.
- Ensure proper change control processes are understood and used by the project team.
- Manage execution, coordination, and implement regular reviews/controls to track project progress.
- Promote value creation and sustainable solutions in project execution.
Key Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience with professional registration.
- Minimum 5 years (PE2) to 8 years (PE3) of engineering experience.
- Experience in multidisciplinary brownfield projects.
- Phase Gate (FEL) engineering experience is desired but not essential.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and project control reports.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and project management software.
