9-day fortnight on 9-hour days / 5 days 8 hours. Flexible working from home available.
Our client is a leading Consultancy with a long term engineering services contract for an esteemed mining client.
They are seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to take part in the delivery of works for this large scale refinery.
Key accountabilities will include
- Develop Scope of Works, scheduling, and budget targets for a number of electrical upgrades.
- Interface with the engineering design team on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance to relevant standards.
- Manages execution, coordination, and implementation of reviews/controls to track progress.
- Stakeholder management and maintain positive client relationships.
- Ensure projects are run in accordance with company standards.
- Budget and schedule forecasting for works.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering in a Brownfield environment.
- Knowledge of engineering design, and the ability to assist with technical queries to clarify project scopes.
- Experience in coordination and review of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience with HV and LV.
- Experience within Mining, design, and major project environments.
