The role sits within the Chief Operations Office team that is the engine room of the CBA group. It is dedicated to running, improving and transforming the processes that deliver products and services to the CBA Group's customers.
The Strategic Workforce Planning Team support the operations teams to drive operational excellence and ensure we can deliver the best possible experience for our customers through effective Workforce Planning. This includes the end to end delivery of larger transformation and productivity initiatives across our business.

As a Project Manager, you will be required to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to improve outcomes, drive emerging and evolving programs of work with varying stages of the project and different completion and compliance dates.
You will also
Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.
- Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations.
- Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff.
- Develop robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables.
- Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery.
- Manage and report project expenditures and benefits realisation.
- Track and manage project activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes and identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies.
- Manage relationships with vendors and third party suppliers.
- Manages organisational change requirements with the business and OCM professionals.
- Evaluate effectiveness of project management tools, processes and methodologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identifying, monitoring and implementing controls to mitigate key risks on the project.
- Manage and resolve any potential conflict whilst facilitating all aspects of stakeholder relationships.
We're interested in hearing from people who:
- Are IT Project Managers with a background in delivering projects in financial services
- Ability to translate technical information to non technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with Workforce Planning tool highly desirable
- demonstrates experience in Project Management, having managed multiple complex projects at a portfolio level
- Have skills in dealing with a diverse group of multiple senior level stakeholders
- Show Knowledge and experience in using industry recognised project management and/or solution delivery methodologies.
