Legal Aid Queensland (LAQ) is seeking an experienced
Project Manager – Telephony for a 5-month engagement, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transition from the current Telstra TCCCP telephony product to a new Webex Collaboration or Webex Calling solution, with Teams calling also under consideration.The
Project Manager – Telephony will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from establishment to procurement, design, implementation, testing, and handover to Business-As-Usual (BAU) support. You will oversee the transition from the current Telstra TCCCP telephony product to a new Webex Collaboration or Webex Calling solution, with Teams calling also under consideration, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.As the
Project Manager – Telephony, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, developing and maintaining project plans, including resource allocation and timelines. You will identify and mitigate project risks and issues, liaising with external vendors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met. You will also ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and procedures, providing regular project updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Key Requirements:- Experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge of Telecommunications projects, particularly with Telstra TCCCP product.
- PRINCE2 certification desired.
- Experience working with Government, particularly around procurement and Standing Offer Arrangements.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Teams calling and Webex solutions is advantageous.
