With a focus on automation & new product development, the future goal will be to reduce the amount of customisation needed for each project, resulting in great capacity to increase volume in production.
With an increased focus on these key factors, my client is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager who has a solid background in engineering and product design/development.
Reporting to the engineering manager you will be:
The Role:
- Managing the product life cycle process from conceptual design to finalised products.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team and provide assistance/guidance when required in process improvement.
- Managing multiple projects across your portfolio, each project will have a dedicated team of high-quality engineers usually ranging between 2-10.
- Overseeing engineering production and able to guide multidisciplinary engineering's teams.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Your Background
- Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Product Design, ideally this person will demonstrate a solid understanding of the product design process.
- Must have demonstrated experience Project Managing various projects across the Product Development Life Cycle, ideally within a similar product development environment.
- Experience managing expectations of multiple stakeholders throughout the PDLC will be critical to this role.
- Must be an adaptable and flexible personality with the ability to go above and beyond in a proactive way in order to deliver on products and key projects.
- Must be a well communicative individual with a collaborative and team player style approach.
