CompanyOur client is a well respected national contractor who have completed many major infrastructure projects Australia wide and have a large pipeline of works leading into 2024. They are privately owned and work across several sectors of the construction industry, with a strong focus on infrastructure.

Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to gain further major infrastructure experience on project across Queensland. You will complement the existing team on-site with your road construction knowledge, hard work, attitude and enthusiasm. Our client always supports growth, and they will ensure they give you the tools to succeed.

Role

• Maintaining and implementing Health and Safety on site by complying with relevant state legislation, acts, regulations, company procedures and site requirements
• Providing leadership and monitoring compliance to the agreed project plan and business processes to ensure that projects are delivered safely
• Monitoring and controlling project costs, provide regular financial forecasts, develop and review claims and, understand and report on the financial status of the project
• Leading the cooperation and coordination between the client and senior management on site

About You: You will have experience managing project teams together with;

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the delivery of civil construction projects in Australia
• Relevant tertiary education in civil engineering or similar
• Recent experience managing subdivisions and other civil works
• Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures
• Experience in working with authorities such as local councils and service authorities
• DTMR experience
