My client is an established mid tier building company supplying a wide range of construction services - new build & fit out construction across a wide range of sectors including commercial, education, sports/leisure, pavilions and health care builds up to $50mil. The ideal person for this Project Management role will have strong commercial new build experience with an ability to hit the ground running to execute projects within the contractual conditions, time frames, scope & budget. Supported by the Leadership and Construction team, this exciting new role will see your day consist of running interesting and ongoing projects.
Responsibilities include;
- Successfully deliver projects from pre-construction through to defect liability and hand over.
- Deliver projects in accordance to building specifications, standards and manage the specific contractual requirements.
- Manage tender interviews, letting of contracts; including subcontractor negotiations.
- Implement and manage project delivery systems.
- Manage EHS&Q responsibilities for the project.
- Manage the financial responsibility of the project.
- Generate construction programmes to ensure detailed planning of safety, resources, time, costs and quality.
- Deliver your project to the highest standard of client satisfaction and quality.
- Manage the performance of the project team and be responsible for the development and mentoring of the project team.
Requirements include;
- Minimum 5+ years experience within the Construction industry as a proven Project Manager.
- Advanced project knowledge & proven deliverables in the new build commercial sector.
- Excellent communication, organization and time management capabilities.
- Seeking someone who is self-driven and energized.
