Follow the link to find out what its like to live, work and play in our wonderful region:About the roleThe Technical Project Manager will report directly to the Program Director - Transition and will be responsible for the day to day management of the project, ensuring the required products are delivered on time, on budget, within scope and to quality standards. The Project Manager must ensure that any variances or risks are appropriately escalated in a timely manner to ensure that risk mitigation strategies are identified and put in place. The Project Manager will work with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure that deliverables reflect end-user requirements and meet stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager will develop and manage the schedule and deliverables of the Project Team.The Technical Project Manager will provide leadership and support to ensure delivery. They will carry out project management activities and will take accountability of procurement, contract negotiation, alignment with HRHA Technical Architecture, communication, engagement with stakeholders across the member health services and delivery of the projects.We are looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or certification in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Experience in ICT infrastructure, End user IT environment, IT support, service delivery and systems with further experience of 5+ years in project management of multi-agency Technical Projects.
- Project and team coordination skills in an ICT context
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working on a project in a complex environment, ideally in a healthcare or hospital setting
- Sound understanding of project management methodology, including deliverables, managing a budget, risk mitigation strategies, governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to develop and frame these in appropriate and consistent forms, reports and tools.
