Summary
Thinkstream are on the lookout for multiple Project Managers with a proven track record of delivering successful ICT projects for Government clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Agile methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams. These roles demand strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum five years' experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), including artefacts, practices, and systems.
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager for government clients.
- Expertise in planning, prioritising conflicting requirements (support and new feature), and scheduling releases.
- Experience in negotiating business requirements and priorities with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to perform analysis and evaluation of projects including resourcing and project financials/budget management.
- Provide visibility of team status, risks and issues to senior management and other business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Azure Dev Ops and Microsoft Project.
- Assist management to forecast capacity to ensure that the team has adequate resources to meet requirements and deliverables.
- Experience in presentation and the delivery of information at varying levels from business clients to board members.
- Experience in coaching team members.
- Demonstrated experience delivering successful programs.
- Ability to effectively manage and mitigate risks across multiple projects to ensure alignment with project business case and allocated budget.
- The successful candidates will be required to work at client sites based in Canberra 2-3 days per week, with flexible work arrangements for the remaining days.
