Access theIn the role of Project Officer, you will coordinate support to program and project managers and team members by leading and coaching project support officers to contribute to effective management of programs and projects.With proven expertise in financial support and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial platforms like SAP, Primavera, 3PCM, or the ability to rapidly acquire such skills, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects by providing comprehensive support and assistance to our dedicated Project Managers.Your role:
Operating within a team of adept project and program controls professionals, you will be involved in various tasks, including interpreting and applying financial policies and procedures around the QTRIP program, undertaking roads infrastructure program/project reporting, providing administrative support to project managers and team members, and ensuring operational practices and performance align with departmental and regional guidelines.Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Understand financial practices and provide guidance to others on their application to district processes.
• Conduct analysis of financial activities to align with multiple financial systems and processes and guides others to provide consistent application within the district.
• Monitor district projects and programs for data quality, taking corrective action as required.
• Providing high level administrative support to QTRIP and other project managers and team members, including project scheduling, project finance and controls tasks.
• Collate various program and project reports and monitors financial performance against forecasts.
• Undertake project reporting to ensure accurate tracking, and to indicate the overall financial position and provide early warnings of deviations.
• Lead and coordinate program support officers to provide a range of program/project support and administration.
