About the Position:
WorkPac is currently searching for an energetic and driven Project Assistant to join our client, Rio Tinto, based in Perth. The Resource Development department are seeking candidates with strong administrative skills and the flexibility to travel to site on a monthly basis. This enticing opportunity is available for an initial 6-month duration, on a Monday to Friday roster. Key Responsibilities Will Include:
• Assisting with arrangements for flights and accommodation
• Ordering of site uniforms and PPE
• Booking meetings and taking meeting minutes
• Managing email distribution lists
• Assisting with the coordination of department events
• Other general administrative duties and data entry as required
• Monthly travel to site to assist project teams with streamlining administrative tasks
Skills & Experience Required:
• 2+ years prior experience in an administration position
• Uphold & encourage respectful behaviours and Rio Tinto values of Care Courage and Curiosity
• Proficiency in MS Office suite including Excel
• Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
• C Class Drivers Licence
