Be an integral part of the team and take on project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects, including operational policy and procedure development and legislative reform within established objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide comprehensive project management support, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery within established methodologies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation for effective reporting and decision-making.
- Interpret statutory provisions and create clear procedures to guide staff performance.
- Evaluate operational policies and procedures for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct research and analysis to address emerging issues and inform program activities.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration with stakeholders to meet policy and legislative requirements for divisional activities.
Key Challenges:
- Experience delivering diverse project management and support services within tight deadlines, with limited resources, and amidst competing priorities.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining concise policies and procedures to empower staff in effectively executing their duties.
- Experience in housing (such as planning, policy, development, etc) would be beneficial but not essential
- Academic or research experience would be highly regarded
