ASCIA was established in 1990 as the peak professional body of clinical immunology/allergy specialists in Australia and New Zealand and now supports over 750 members. The ASCIA Office is located in the Lifestyle Working building in Brookvale on Sydney's Northern Beaches which offers abundant light, open space and a convenient location adjacent to Westfield Warringah Mall.
About the opportunity:
Currently ASCIA is seeking a highly organised and professional Project Officerwho can join our small and very effective team to help us to expand ASCIA education, training, and advocacy in the areas of immunodeficiency, autoimmunity, anaphylaxis, and allergy. Reporting directly to the CEO, and working with our existing ASCIA team of staff and contractors, the key objectives of this role will be to:
- Progress the implementation of the ASCIA Immunodeficiency Strategy, including new standards of care, education, .and advocacy.
- Progress National Allergy Council projects that have been assigned to ASCIA.
- Communicate with ASCIA members and collaborate with other stakeholders to successfully deliver initiatives and projects.
- Tertiary qualification/s - Bachelor Degree in Health/Science, Pharmacy or Medicine.
- Ability to evaluate, plan and implement initiatives and projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Methodical approach to work with attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
- Proficiency in MS Office, in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
