The Project Officer role in the Site Identification unit will work closely and collaboratively as part of a team responsible for supporting the infrastructure delivery of the Government's major kindergarten reform program.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of autonomy, and will be self motivated and driven to produce results through collaboration. Key components of each role include project support, planning and reporting, and stakeholder engagement within the Department and with external sector (council and not-for-profit kindergarten providers) partners.
The ideal candiate will also have the ability to analyse complex datasets, including quantitative calculations to identify issues. This will include maintaining accurate records to support planning and reporting practices across the team, including monitoring and entering complex financial information into databases, as well as supporting continuous improvement efforts in data and administrative management to ensure compliance with internal process requirements
Candidates will have proven project support experience, preferably relating to supporting delivery of complex projects. Candidates will also be able to demonstrate their ability to work confidently and constructively with key internal/external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of projects.
