Project Officer Heritage Recovery - Loddon Mallee

The Project Officer Heritage Recovery supports the local coordination and planning of recovery following an emergency event to ensure a streamlined approach to recovery works and programs across the Region. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of a Regional Recovery Plan following significant natural disasters. The Recovery Officer will build strong relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to support on ground delivery of key recovery programs
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Relevant local knowledge and understanding of the communities in the Loddon Mallee region is desirable
• Knowledge of, and experience in the identification, protection, and management of Aboriginal and historic cultural heritage places, objects, and values.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2024. The work location for this position is flexible within the Loddon Mallee Region with hybrid work arrangements available.
