The Role
The Project Officer - Housing Policy Partnerships is a key member of the NATSIHA team, responsible for leading and coordinating various housing projects and initiatives. The HPP is a critical initiative under Priority Reform One of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap. This partnership seeks to address the critical issue of housing across Australia for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The HPP is made up of First Nations community representatives and Senior Executives from across Commonwealth and all State and Territory Governments.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Coordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations to engage stakeholders and gather feedback.
  • Address stakeholder concerns, ensuring their continuous involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in budget planning and monitoring, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets. Coordinate with relevant departments to allocate resources effectively, identifying and addressing resource gaps to optimise utilisation.
