- Deliver a program of projects for key clients through management of key stakeholders and contractors.
- Manage work programs to deliver engineering services with respect to Mine Waste management.
- Support multiple concurrent projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling and risk management.
- Lead the design of tailings storage facilities and other earthen structures, from conceptual through to delivery stages.
- Delegation of components project tasks.
- Plan and direct field investigations and other tasks to meet project requirements.
- Develop connections nationally and internationally.
- Provide regular client contact and proposals through project meetings and business development initiatives.
- Prepare regular update reports for clients.
- Mentor junior personnel.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports on time.
- Work with other professionals in project teams.
- Bachelor degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or project management qualifications are desirable.
- Proven project management experience including managing multiple coinciding programs with internal and external stakeholders with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presentations and client interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams.
