Our client is in search of a Project Scheduler with demonstrated experience of complex scheduling, schedule management, strong stakeholder communication skills, technical application of scheduling tools such as Open Plan Professional or equivalent will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of a P80 detailed schedule, prior to the Project’s Capability Manager Gateway Review (CMGR) milestone.
Deliverables:
Coordinate the development and implementation of a project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Analyse critical path, identify risks and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around to meet key project milestones.
Engage with all WLR team members and their respective areas of responsibility to define scope of work to develop and update the schedule (including resource requirements and cost information) prior to CMGR.
Maintain the overall integration of the contractor master schedule within the project schedule.
Assist the Project Management Team with the development of project and program briefs, reports and documentation using a range of tools and techniques.
Essential Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in integrated project scheduling management and advanced proficiency in project scheduling software.
Prior experience in preparing project performance reports for major Government projects.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Project.
Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
Desirable Criteria:
Prior experience and / or understanding of Open Plan Professional.
A minimum of 5 years + experience as a Project scheduler in a related industry (i.e., State Government, Federal Government).
