About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Scheduler to join our team.
Location: Brisbane, CBD
Contract Type: Full time, ongoing
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be a valuable member of the team responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of all activities related to the construction of MYT’s RSD Large-Scale Renewable Energy Projects.
As a Project Scheduler, your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines for the construction of the solar farm, taking into account all stakeholders, resources, and materials required.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and other stakeholders.
- Proactive liaison with site teams to get regular updates on works progress and input to project schedules.
- Identify and flag potential scheduling conflicts and risks and provide solutions to resolve them.
- Review and incorporate subcontractor schedules into project master schedules, and advise site teams on any deviations to key milestone dates.
- Accurate resource loading into project schedules and generate S-Curve data for monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary project teams and stakeholders to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate any changes to the project scope or timeline to the relevant stakeholders.
- Track project schedule changes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide detailed reports on project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Liaise with document controller and ensure that all schedule documents related to the project are accurate
- Provide support and information to contracts team regarding project scheduling and EOT claims.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Experience in contractual documentation and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical constructability within renewable energy plants.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written, including the writing of technical reports, procedures and method statements.
- Pro-active and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively cross functionally and with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Package software(s)
