The Fuels & Energy East line of business are seeking interest from Project Scheduler’s who will be responsible for developing and maintaining the schedule of works prior across the lifecycle of the project using Primavera (P6). You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on a new project – Decommissioning (offshore O&G).
The role is based in our Melbourne head office.
About the role
- Generate and run the Primavera plan for the project in accordance with Planning and Scheduling project requirements.
- Develop the Project mobilisation plan to ensure that both project and client milestones are met
- Assist in the development of detailed cost estimates and reconciliation; Validate work steps and durations with team members
- Participate in schedule optimisation reviews of critical and major works; Perform critical and near critical path analysis.
- Ensure all Project work has been reviewed and approved prior to entering into the schedule
- Resource-level the plan and produce reports of all labour requirements for the business
About you
- Tertiary qualifications or experience in a Scheduling role
- 8-10 years plus working within a Project Scheduling or Planning role, O&G or petro-chemical facilities
- Well developed skills in Primavera software (P6), SAP and MS Office software (AS 9001 quality systems knowledge is well regarded)
- Technical problem solving
- Communicate effectively within a busy team environment and also work independently
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels
