We are currently seeking a Project Scheduler with experience in the construction industry. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of project schedules from proposal submission through the entire delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Controls team to refine project reports and optimize processes.
- Generate routine reports and deliver constructive feedback to the Lead Scheduler, Project Managers/Engineers, Senior Management, and clients, focusing on key milestones.
- Craft project schedules and cash flows for inclusion in proposal submissions and throughout pre-construction phases.
- Spearhead the development, maintenance, and control of project schedules, ensuring strict adherence to established guidelines and best practices.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Project Managers/ Engineers to execute weekly schedule updates, conduct progress analysis, and contribute valuable insights on overall project status.
- Actively participate in project review meetings, engaging with both the Project team and the Project Controls team.
- Contribute to the annual updating of the Master schedule, aligning with targets for the fiscal year set by senior management and clients.
- Craft succinct schedule narratives that articulate progress status and provide well-justified explanations for any encountered delays.
- Vigilantly monitor, record, and report on project performance, meticulously comparing actuals against planned criteria.
- Evaluate contractor schedules and progress updates, promptly reporting any schedule-related issues.
- Generate and meticulously monitor project cash flow, delivering monthly forecasts derived from project schedules.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, complemented by a minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on scheduling experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Showcase proven experience in preparing schedules for expansive multi-disciplinary construction projects, leveraging Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
- Showcase excellent analytical skills coupled with a keen willingness to learn and adapt.
- Exhibit a high level of interpersonal, negotiation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate expertise in scheduling tools, with a mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Exhibit strong proficiency in MS Excel.
