Job Description
As a Project / Senior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project planning, execution, and completion. Your expertise and leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in project planning, design, and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Daily/weekly planning, progress and productivity reporting and site records
- Field engineering assistance
- QA preparation, ITP sign off, NRC’s and quality documentation
- Review project schedules to ensure delivery times are met and communicate with key stakeholders on progress
- Develop and maintain project budgets.
- Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet milestones.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and documentation.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of [7] years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a FIFO 2/1 roster and adapt to remote work conditions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
