About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Mining Civil Supervisor who is looking to progress their career to the next level. You will lead back-to-back small civil crews (typically 6-10) to deliver a civil works package in construction and maintenance of mining surface infrastructure including roads, pads and general civil construction. You will be part of an operations management team, with all site managers and coordinators working together to support each other and the business. You will be the primary site representative for the works package and will work closely with our client representatives.

Your Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated understanding of civil works in mining-related operations, including the intricacies of the industry, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with your crews and our clients. You understand that building successful relationships is how we succeed. "Win-win" outcomes are your goal.
- Demonstrated ability to develop your people. You want to develop training and development plans to grow your team's skillset and will hold regular check ins and performance reviews,
- Experience with GPS equipment. Prior experience with Trimble site works and propeller would be advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret designs.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Prior experience working under an ISO quality management system would be advantageous.
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft suite - Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Standard 11 certificate dated within the previous 5 years.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical) paid for by us.
- Current Open Drivers Licence.
- Current RII Competency (Statement of Attainment) dated within the previous 5 years: "S123" (RIICOM301 Communicate information; RIIRIS301 Apply risk management processes; RIIWHS301 Conduct safety and health investigations); "G2" RIIRIS402E Carry out the risk management process.
