This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/ or permanency. 

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/07/2025.

About this role

The Project Support Officer will contribute to the effective and efficient delivery of the Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) operational functions. The role involves providing high levels of project, administrative, governance and business support to the OPH Service Director. Through planning, coordinating and preparing project documentation, you will support the Service Director to successfully implement new strategies and initiatives.

This role reports to the OPH Service Director.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for 1 Full Time position.

What we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience in Project Support, ideally within a health setting. Someone with great communication and interpersonal skills, who can use their skills to interact with the wide range of stakeholders encountered in projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan and coordinate activities within timeframes and to the standards expected of WA Health. The ability to work in a team and adapt to shifting priorities will be crucial in this role.

Area Profile

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) provides specialist health care services for the community in the north metropolitan area. The hospital has 186 beds and employs over 596 staff who treat over 95,000 patients every year.

OPH was opened in 1962 and is located in Stirling, 14 kilometres from the Perth central business district. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist health care services for the north metropolitan suburbs. The services at OPH are provided by three main specialties:

  • Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services and Younger Adult Rehabilitation,
  • Surgical Services, and
  • Women’s and Newborn Services.

Each of these specialties has a dedicated Allied Health Team incorporating diabetes, dietetics, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physiotherapy, podiatry, social work and speech pathology and more.
