Are you the next member of the Type 1 Diabetes Family Centre's team? We're looking for an administrative superstar to join us on a casual basis at our modern, purpose-built facility in Stirling. This unique opportunity is open for a motivated individual with outstanding attention to detail and excellent administration skills who would be interested in supporting our fundraising and philanthropic activities. It's all about helping our efforts to raise vital funds to support people and families impacted by Type 1 Diabetes.
About the role:
This role would suit a person who understands just how valuable good administration is in supporting an organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our team and showcase their ability to work accurately and efficiently. They will be keen to tackle the challenges of working in a dynamic and fast-growing organisation.
The main responsibilities would include:
- Provide project and administrative support to the Communications & Partnerships Manager by
- Providing high-quality administrative support in the lead-up to, during, and while concluding major fundraising campaigns, project launches, and events
- Researching prospective funding opportunities
- Establishing grants calendar
- Scheduling communications with major partners and donors
- Cataloguing relevant research
- Assisting in the preparation of grant proposals, reports, and other donor communications
- Maintaining accurate donor information records
- Monitoring campaign results
- Ensuring sponsorship agreements are fulfilled
About you – skills and experience:
Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
- Proven experience in administrative support roles
- Great organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organisation
- A proactive approach with an enthusiasm for ensuring that things just work and go smoothly
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboratively within a team environment.
