Project Support Officer - Sports Legacy & Activation

Temporary Full Time until December 2026

Location: Morwell, Victoria

Salary: $76,171.43 to $87,565.78 plus 11% superannuation.

Department: Sports Legacy and Activation

About the Role

As the Project Officer, you will assist the Sports Legacy and Activation department in the administration associated with the planning and delivery of Regional Sporting Infrastructure projects and programs to ensure quality outcomes that meet Council and community expectations.

About You

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated experience in providing administration and support in project management or in a related discipline of a similar size organisation and the ability to organise and prioritise tasks, problem solve, and work collaboratively as part of a small team.

For this role we are seeking applicants who have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or lesser qualifications together with significant administration experience and/or exposure to project delivery environments.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills including a mature and professional approach to customer service and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ability to build knowledge of other applications relevant to the position.
  • Proven ability to work independently and also as part of a collaborative team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Excellent attention to detail. ability to collate information in a timely manner.
