ABOUT THE ROLE
Working within our Test and Trials team, the Trials Coordinator will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the team. This position will also include travel to trial sites which can vary from 1-2 days up to a few weeks. The Trials Coordinator will also be required to be on site 1-2 days before and after trials have been completed.
The main responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Defence Writing - Creating Trials and Security Plans in addition to minute taking during meetings/milestones.
- Logistical Planning - Organising Freight, booking and coordinating transport, coordinating personnel movements of the team and organising accommodation.
- Operational Planning - Booking Trials Assets/Platforms/Facilities, booking and coordinating trials meetings, management of trial planning documentation.
- Security Management - Preparing and assisting with preparing security documents, coordinating and planning physical security of trial sites.
- Data Management - Preparing and managing trial management data.
- Relationship Management - Building and managing effective working relationships with Defence stakeholders.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for the Trials Coordinator position will have previous Defence experience in a similar role. The Trials Coordinator will need to operate with minimal supervision and requires excellent time management and organisational skills.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The Trials Coordinator will:
- Have previous experience working on Defence projects.
- Have exceptional attention to detail.
- Have excellent communication, negotiating and relationships building skills.
- Be proactive and have excellent problem-solving skills.
- A relevant tertiary qualification
- Be an Australian Citizen.
- Hold a current Negative Vetting 1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
It would be desirable if they had:
