The Opportunity:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Project & Support Planner to join our high performing team. The successful applicant will work from our, modern and accessible Head Office in Jandakot on a Monday-Friday basis. Our Project & Support Planner will act as a point of contact interfacing with client counterparts regarding mobilisation and site-access processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and facilitating smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for management and staff.
- Assist in the maintenance of job forecasts and provide scheduling support for projects.
- Support the generation of purchase orders as needed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Manage equipment booking, procurement, and inventory management, ensuring availability and proper utilization of resources for projects.
- Oversee and update employee records, ensuring they align with job-related compliance standards and company policies.
- Collaborate closely with the managers to ensure timely escalation of challenges and provide necessary support.
- Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist in processing fortnightly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with the payroll department.
- Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of administrative support.
The successful applicant will have:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience in resource planning and mobilisation for shutdown maintenance and or project works. Ideally you will bring experience in mobilising personnel to blue chip mining companies, advanced skills in the Office suite of products, demonstrate a methodical and organised approach to work tasks, ability to problem solve independently and within a team environment.
Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol tests as part of the recruitment process.
