Building our Talent

Based at the Multiplex New Footscray Hospital Connectivity Centre, the Administrator is responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of a social procurement program supporting Multiplex subcontractors in relation to employment of First Nations, youth, unemployed, workers in transition, and prospective students you will also provide social procurement and workforce development policy advice, industry insights into Aboriginal business, Australian Disability Enterprise and Social Enterprise business sectors, and reporting assistance on social procurement outcomes.

This role is offered on a full-time fixed term contract through to mid-2025.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Onboarding new subcontractors and providing advice on workforce development and social procurement policies and implementation strategies.
  • Ensure contractual social procurement commitments are met, including identifying new opportunities for inclusive employment and purchasing with social benefit suppliers.
  • Monitoring the social procurement progress of subcontractors and applying interventions for underperformance.
  • Liaising with employment service providers to identify and support candidates suitable for work on the project.
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including employment service providers, social benefit suppliers and government.
  • Promoting inclusive employment through the design and implementation of programs and events.

Key Skillset Required:

  • Previous experience in social coordination, employment, not-for-profit industries, a training/education organisation or similar.
  • Understanding of sector and TAFE operations, governance, and decision-making processes including QA policies and procedures and other relevant legislative requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) influencing and negotiation skills, presentation and report writing skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to understand and comply with employer policy and practices in all aspects of work and conduct, including OH&S and Anti-Discrimination responsibilities.
