The role:We are looking to add an experienced team member to our Shared Services department based in our Melbourne CBD office on Exhibition Street. The
Property Accounting Officer will be responsible for providing support for our Accounts Receivable and Lease Administration functions. You will primarily process rental receipts from tenants & reconcile trust bank accounts, coordinate the financial reporting timetable to ensure deadlines are achieved.
Key responsibilities:- Daily processing of rental payments & receipts
- Reconciliation of trust bank accounts daily
- Monitoring the suspense account
- Dealing with rental queries from Tenants & Property Managers
- Perform lease maintenance functions i.e., entering new leases, amending/varying existing leases, processing vacating tenants etc.
- Build rapport and working relationships with all key stakeholders
Who are we looking for?- Previous experience in high volume Accounts Receivable role
- Yardi Experience (highly desirable)
- MRI experience (highly desirable)
- Proven attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a wider team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
